As many of you know, a year ago I launched a non-profit organization known as The Regnier Foundation. An advocacy group seeking to provide safe housing for victims of sex trafficking and other underserved children (ages 11-17) caught in the frays of society.

While the shortage of housing for these children is vast, I’m leveraging profits from my real estate investments firm, Rebel Property Solutions LLC to launch The Regnier Foundation. The Foundation will channel all donations toward the purchase of properties suitable for safe housing and supportive services through The Regnier Foundation. These safe homes are managed and operated by non-profit and faith based organizations already dedicated to combating the evils of human trafficking nationwide.

At the reception on August 22nd, my informational presentation will include an overview of the Foundation’s mission, vision, goals and objectives for fulfilling this lofty commitment. Many of you have already told me you’d like to help when the time is right and now is that time!

This meeting is designed to bring you all together and begin recruiting for various volunteer positions. First and foremost, I intend to establish an Advisory Board, who’s first order of business will be to identify candidates for the Regnier Foundation Board of Directors. I am also seeking volunteers interested in participating on committees such as donor retention, corporate sponsors, special events coordination, etc.  I will have sign up sheets as well as a description of the commitment, roles and responsibilities for each task available at the meeting.

Those who know me, know the three things I care about most are: the environment, community and belonging to both. Human trafficking and sexual exploitation of minors destroys all of these things in the lives of its victims; robbing them of any hope of a normal childhood, dignity or love.

Together we can change the trajectory of these children’s lives.  They children need to know they are worthy of love and a promising future!

It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
